S102는 원거리 GEPON, 원거리 기가비트 이더넷 연결을 통해서, 경제성을 유지하며 서비스 범위를 확장한 마이크로 스케일 GEPON OLT 플랫폼입니다. 도시가 아닌 지방이나 전원지역같이 넓은 지역에 서비스 대상들이 넓게 분포되어 있는 낮은 밀집도 지역에, 거대한 시스템 설치 및 유지 보수는 경제적이지 못합니다. S102는 운영자들에게 콤팩트 크기, 온도에 강화 및 다양한 옵션의 기가비트 이더넷 연결과 함께 GEPON 서비스 제공하며, 서비스분 지역을 확대 가능한 경제적 솔루션을 제공합니다.
S102는 GEPON 2 포트와 기가비트 이더넷 광 업링크 2포트를 제공합니다. 기가비트 광송수신기 상용 제품은 single core로 100km 이상 GEPON 서비스를 확장 할 수 있습니다. 64 분기 스플리터를 이용하여 128 가입자를 커버할 수 있습니다(2 EPON port). S102는 콤팩트 크기의 1 RU 섀시에 파워 및 듀얼 스필리터를 장착할 수 있습니다. S1의 섀시에 스플리터 대신에 S5 플랫폼의 WDM PON 광링크 연결을 통하여 WDM media converter를 장착 할 수 있습니다. S102는 S5 플랫폼과 연결 되어 뛰어난 GEPON 서비스를 제공합니다.
