R1P-VD는 VDSL 서비스 인터페이스를 구현하여 POTS 라인을 통하여 상하향 100/100Mbps의 속도를 지원하는 Ethernet based VDSL2 DSLAM 입니다. 표준 VDSL2 스위치는 높은 패킷 처리 능력을 제공하는 이더넷 스위치에 구현 됩니다. R1P-VD는 POTS 스플리터를 내장하고 VDSL2 16 포트와 24 포트가 있습니다.
향상된 레이어 2 스위칭 엔진을 가진 R1P-VD는 VDSL 라인 제어 기능과 관리 기능, 그리고 R1P-SWL2B와 동일한 패킷 처리 능력과 성능을 가지고 있습니다. QoS와 멀티캐스트 같은 표준화 되고 최적화 된 기능들과 상,하향 대칭 고속의 R1P-VD는 주택 서비스와 상업 서비스를 모두 만족하기에 충분 합니다. 작고 콤팩트한 크기, 전면 액세스(full front access)및 각종 광링크 인터페이스로 R1P-VD의 광대역 DSL 액세스 네트워크에 가장 적절한 솔루션을 만들어 줍니다.
R1P-VD는 타 스위치와 연동이 개선된 기가비트 이더넷 기본 2포트를 제공하며, 광링크 기가비트 이더넷, GEPON 및 S5 OLT에 기가비트 WDM PON등의 업 링크 옵션 슬롯을 제공합니다. 광 업링크 모듈 분리를 개선하여 네트워크 구성을 유연하고 간단하게 이동과 교체가 쉽게 만들었습니다.
R1P-VD는 IP 패킷 처리 기술인 802.1q tagged VLAN, 802.1w RSTP, 802.1p CoS, 802.3ad Link Aggregation flow control과 Ingress/egress port mirroring를 지원합니다. 또한 강력한 Qos 기능인 MFC, CoS, DSCP, ToS marking/remarking, Policing/ Shaping/ Rate control, Congestion Control 및 Scheduling을 지원 합니다. IGMP snooping과 같은 멀티캐스트 기능과 Fast Leave를 제공합니다.
네트워크 보호(보안) 기술인 MAC filtering, IGMP/DHCP/ARP Snoop filtering, HOL blocking prevention, DHCP filtering, NetBEUI/NetBIOS/NBT filtering, ACL enhance the network security을 포함하고 있습니다
