  R1P-SW24L2B is enhanced Layer2 Fast Ethernet Switch that enables 100Mbps connection in the last mile over Cat.5 UTP cable(100Base TX Type) and fiber(100Base FX Type).

  Today’s new service demands more functionalities than the ordinary L2 functionalities. Today’s access network has to offer the advanced services while simplifying network infrastructure for economic and efficient investments based on Ethernet. Some of the new functionalities includes Service Level Agreement(SLA), bandwidth guarantee for delay sensitive service and efficient multicast control for IPTV service

  R1P-SW24L2B offers high performance of packet processing capabilities with enhanced Layer 2 engine. The optimized and standardized functions of R1P-SW24L2B such as QoS and multicast provide more efficient solution for both of residential and commercial services. Compact form factor, full front access and various optical link interfaces make R1P-SW24L2B the most appropriate solution for broadband Ethernet access network

  R1P-SW24L2B offers default 2 ports of Gigabit Ethernet that improves scalability connecting in cascade form. It provides an optional uplink slot for the optical links such as Gigabit Ethernet, GEPON and Gigabit WDM PON from S5 OLT. The removable optical uplink module improves the flexibility of network configuration and makes the migration simple with easy replacement in fields.

  R1P-SW24L2B supports wide ranges of IP packet processing technology such as 802.1q tagged VLAN, 802.1w RSTP, 802.1p CoS, 802.3ad Link Aggregation, 802.3x flow control and Ingress/egress port mirroring. It also supports powerful QoS functions such as MFC, CoS, DSCP, ToS marking/remarking, Policing/ Shaping/ Rate control, Congestion Control and Scheduling. It offers multicast functions like IGMP snooping and Fast Leave. The network protection technologies including MAC filtering, IGMP/DHCP/ARP Snoop filtering, HOL blocking prevention, DHCP filtering, NetBEUI/NetBIOS/NBT filtering and ACL enhance the network security.
