Product overview

R1-AD series is an ADSL2+ IP DSLAM that delivers up to 25 Mbps downstream bandwidth over pots line. R1-AD series has 3 models, 24 ports with built-in POTS splitters and 24/48 ports without splitters. All R1-AD series products have a compact form factor with 1 RU entity and provide the full front access feature that enables the easy installation and management.

Designed on standards compliant DMT ADSL2+, the R1-AD series supports backward ADSL technology compatibility

R1-AD series offers flexible uplink interfaces including Gigabit Ethernet and GEPON to be supported on IP backbone networks. It also provides the scalability with stacking. These versatile uplink options allow service providers to use the R1-AD series for not only high-speed data service with lower speed uplinks but also video triple play services with the larger capacity uplinks. For video triple play services, R1-AD series has the IP functionalities to support QoS and multicast such as IGMP V2 snooping, 802.1q VLAN tagging and 802.1p CoS
