Overview

  Fiber can bring virtually unlimited bandwidth into the network. All-fiber network is the ultimate goal of access network which is already available today. With Passive Optical Network technology, all-fiber network became affordable and practical in many regions. Corecess¡¯ Gigabit Ethernet Passive Optical Network solution provides the capacity of fiber network and enhances economics of all-fiber network. Corecess¡¯ pure IP/Ethernet based solution reduces capital expenses with simplicity of network and operating expenses with field-passives.

  The S5, high performance L3 switch router based OLT, provides gigabit optical links including GEPON links. Wide range of ONT can be connected directly or through field-passive splitters in GEPON. A single GEPON link can be dropped to 32 or 64 using splitter. Corecess GEPON supports multiple Logical Link Identifier(LLID) which enables multiple logical links in every GEPON physical connections. The Data, voice and video traffic can be controlled separately for residential users. The internet and intranet traffic can also be controlled separately for commercial users. With the addition of L3 switching and routing function, Corecess¡¯ advanced GEPON technology enables the both residential services and commercial services in a single platform.

Extended service coverage

  The deployment and maintenance of large OLT system are not economical for small number of subscribers in long?distanced, typically rural, service area. Corecess provides micro scale OLT, S1, to extend service coverage more than 100km, overcoming the distance limit of PON network. The S1 can be connected to S5 with a commercial single core Gigabit Ethernet optical transceiver and cover up to 128 GEPON subscribers. Operators can maintain the service homogeneity while keeping economy.

High performance scalable OLT platform

Corecess S5 OLT provides the high scalability in the capacity of switching and optical links. The uplink connection to network is also scalable with 10Gbps connections. Operators will have wide range of freedom to optimize their all-fiber network with the flexibility of S5. With its superior function of multicast, QoS control, and routing, operators can establish and maintain a single all-fiber network for both residential and commercial service.

Superior function of GEPON

Corecess provides multiple LLID function in GEPON. It enables separate control on different type of traffic for every user and provides great flexibility for QoS control. The hardware based high speed Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation function of GEPON minimizes frame delay and frame delay variance. Operators can provide superior QoS to their customers with Corecess¡¯ differentiated GEPON function.

Enhanced economy

With combination of WDM PON and small scale OLT, operators can save the feeder fiber. Small scale OLT can extend service coverage up to 100Km by connecting S5 OLT with commercial Gigabit Ethernet optical transceiver.
