Overview |
|
The global acceptance of the Internet and its fast expansion helped in the creation of a large number of new industries and businesses and has greatly influenced the progress of the global business environment. Accessing the Internet therefore, has become a daily necessity for these businesses and their customers. In addition, a large number of people all over the world are becoming reliant on the Internet.
In such evolving environments, the last mile connectivity or the end user access network becomes quite a vital aspect. Whilst businesses and customers reside at the access networks, new business access requires highly reliable links hence the infrastructure must provide efficiency, robustness and scalability.
Corecess has proposed and developed a new paradigm of ADSL service, calling it the Smart ADSL. The Smart ADSL terminates the ATM at the edge and provides full IP based (Ethernet) connectivity to the rest of the network. It therefore, simplifies the network and maximizes efficiency and flexibility of the whole network. Such solutions make it easy, fast and cost effective for service providers to offer the required services.
The DSLlinX 6524 is an advanced ADSL Central Office (CO) Equipment which is part of the Corecess Smart ADSL solution. The DSLlinX 6524 provides 24 ADSL ports, and/or up to 2Mbps V.35 interfaces for various WAN connections. It also provides routing functions for cost-effective remote deployment of the system.
The DSLlinX 6524 supports ANSI T1.413i2 as well as the ITU-T G.992.1/2 Annex A and C for global deployment.
