Overview

Corecess 8100 is a shelf type Ethernet over VDSL DSLAM equipment measuring 3U in height (4U including fan tray). It provides 48-lines of VDSL interface that provide full standard frequency band allocation and an up-link module that provides various network interfaces such as 10/100 TX, 100 FX, GbE.

Corecess 8100 provides a Switching Throughput of 25.6 Gbps and asymmetric downstream data rate service up to 57Mbps, using single pair of normal telephone wires, allowing the service providers to offer high speed Internet access and broadband services on a single media.

Corecess 8100 has been designed keeping in mind high durability, providing the optimum broadband access solution fit for the most challenging environmental conditions such as experienced in MDUs, MTUs, and MHUs.

Corecess 8100 provides perfect security functions by layered filtering using layer 3 and layer 4, and QoS by strong traffic management functionalities such as flow classification, Rate Limiting function.

The enhanced QoS feature incorporated in the products are applied for identification and marking techniques of data packets for coordinating QoS from end to end between network elements. The QOS policy, management, and accounting functions are used in order to control and administer end to end traffic, across an active network.

Corecess 8100 provides improved VLAN services, power redundancy, standardized management, and simple S/W upgrades. It also provides optimal subscriber network management solutions support to service providers for value-added services. With its stackable and rate limiting functions, it offers the service providers easy growth and cost-effective solutions for their existing services.
